We went to the Manchester Rec center, on the 1st of July. They have a playground in the shallow section, sprinklers, water volleyball, a few large water slides and a 'lazy river', along with the normal swim areas. It looks like it would be fun, everytime we drove by it the kids would salivate and beg to go. We went with some friends who drove the hour to visit us and play. (Thank you) It was a bit cooler that day so the water was extra cold. It didn't seem to matter to most of the kids. My friend's little one, 'E' was not so thrilled! It was crowded and I had to be in a swimsuit, but enough negativity! We had a really good time they had 'Watermelon Wednesday' and gave out slices of, you guessed it, watermelon. The kids did not want to leave. Matthew was the only one who stood still long enough for me to get this picture...

I love "lazy rivers"! That's the only thing I like about water parks. I'm not into climbing a zillion stairs for a waterslide or getting motion sickness in a wave pool. An inner tube and a "lazy river" is just my speed.

Too priceless.
I hope our kids take amazing pictures like Matthew does.
