Be Careful What You Wish For

This past Thursday was my 1st day in awhile that all 3 of my Little Monkeys were in school. I daydreamed of all the things I was going to get finished. I have been falling behind on some house cleaning because of all of our recent snow days. I was thinking it would be an awesome time to get my carpets shampooed. I don't know about everyone else but I am starting to feel like my house is stale, I guess that is the best word for it. I need some fresh Spring air!! Well, it never happened. -I know you are shocked!

This morning, it's Saturday (my birthday weekend!! Happy Birthday Weekend to me! oops sorry...where was I...) Monkey #2 was crying, DO NOT tell anyone I told you. He is very sensitive and tender-hearted but he does not like crying in front of anyone! This was a HUGE warning flag that he was not feeling well. He came in to my bedroom and proceeded to tell me his stomach hurt really bad. And...then...he...puked...from...one...end...of...the...house...to...the...other!! So guess what? I got my carpets shampooed after all!

Nothing quite like the fresh scent of puke to motivate Spring cleaning. Maybe I ought to try that over here....
