Well, sort of, today I had to call Animal Control, that's like the animal police. Ü Caitlyn and I were on our way to pick Matthew up from school and I noticed a little bird lying by the side of the house. At 1st I thought it was dead but as I looked closer it was still breathing. I called Spencer to see what I should do. (that seems silly but, that's what I did) He gave me the number for PAWS and I called them. They told me to pick the bird up with paper towels and check for a heartbeat. I did it although I was totally squimish about the whole thing. By the time I had picked it up it had died! EWWW! I was holding a dead bird, I was about to be late to pick up Matt, and Caitlyn was asking a bazillion questions!! I placed it in the trash can but now I am concerned that I should have buried it. Does this count against me for my final judgement? Why is all this weird stuff happening to me? I promise, right here, right now, that if anything odd happens tomorrow I am not leaving the house for a really long time!!

You are cracking me up over here! Maybe I should just have you around in case of an emergency!! You are amazing for following these promptings or calls to be the good Samaritan.
You are so funny! Well, if putting it in the trash instead of burying it counts against you in the final judgment, I'm sure you'll get it a little easier since you stopped at all to even care or notice a tiny little bird. :) You have such a good heart.
So, did anything weird happen?
Although you might be uneasy about all these things happening, they make for great posts!
