A Fun-zee For Today...

We were on our way home from dropping Ben at school.  It is freezing, by the way!  Matt and Caitlyn have seriously been obsessed with going over to my friend, Lindsey's, house.  (she has a WII) I have tried to talk to them about not inviting themselves places and remembering their manners, etc.  They are stubborn, hmm, wonder where that came from, they would not let it go this morning.  Finally I said, "Ms. Lindsey isn't home, she is going to Utah to visit her sister and her new baby niece."

Cait "Oh, can I go to Utah, too?"
Me "No, honey.  Utah is pretty far away."
Matt "Cait, you don't want to go to Utah, they speak a different language there.  You won't understand it."

Funny! I think Matt is right. I'm pretty sure they do speak another language there!

Sigh...I guess that's what my problem is!
Nobody understands me...despite the fact we have the Wii...
Must be the deep Utah roots my family has...only 2 of us are Tennesseans...the rest of us are Utahns...
I think our family is mis-understood :(
Oh well, at least we have the Wii to communicate with everybody!!! ;)

Funny! Your kids need to be on Bill Cosby's old show "Kids Say the Darnest Things." I used to LOVE that show.
