Today was another Mommy and Cait day as the men were all at work and school today. We did our nails and had a make-over. Then we put on our fanciest clothes and did ballet. As I was looking for Caitlyn's ballet mat (located in a cabinet under the entertainment center) I pulled out several VHS and cassette tapes. Cait picks a cassette tape up and looks at it strangely.
Then she asks, "What is THIS?!" (picture a look of technological disgust on her face.)
I replied "It's a tape."
"Well, what does it do, what's it for?"
I couldn't even answer her. I was too busy pushing my LifeCall button to let them know...
"I had fallen and can't get up!"

That's funny! Just this past weekend I was talking about a cassette tape and my nephews were puzzled so I had to explain what it was. I felt old then!
That is a hoot! Matt makes fun of me for insisting on keeping some of the tapes we have, and a DVD/VHR combo we have in our room. But I have "Shrek," and "My Fair Lady" on VHS--I can't get rid of those! (And can't justify spending money to get them on DVD--besides, right when I do I'm sure something new and smaller will come out.) But what a great mom to do such a fun day with the little gal.
